Dr. Elizabeth DeNoma is a developmental editor, translator, foreign rights manager (agencies and publishers only), and publishing consultant with deep expertise in international literature.

She's worked at Microsoft, Websters Multimedia Publishing, at Amazon Crossing acquiring and editing global literature for translation into English, and managing the foreign rights department at the Ross Yoon Agency.

Some of her standout acquisitions and editorial work can be found in The Man Who Played with Fire by Jan Stocklassa, A Drop of Midnight by Jason Diakité, P.S. from Paris by Marc Levy, The Light of the Fireflies by Paul Pen, An American Princess by Annejet van der Zijl, and The Murmur of Bees by Sofía Segovia, The Lego Book by Jens Anderson, and The Mentalist Series by Camilla Läckberg and Henrik Fexeus.

Elizabeth regularly leads panels and conducts interviews at publishing industry events such as the London Book Fair, BookExpo, the Frankfurt Book Fair, and the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) and at the National Nordic Museum. Elizabeth has a Ph.D. in Scandinavian languages and literature from the University of Washington (Seattle).

She’s been the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship and received the Swedish Women Educational Award and has served on the board of directors for The Pat Graney Dance Company, Richard Hugo House, and the University of Washington’s Translation Center.
