Initial assessment

Books need different attention at each stage of development, tailored by genre, intended audience, language and country of origin, as well as other factors. Before undertaking any project, I read a portion of the manuscript and give an assessment about the strengths and opportunities for the project, and what working in greater depth would entail.

There are things I don’t do: proofreading, indexing, finding an agent, web design, and social media consulting. I do know people who are excellent at all those things, and I love to connect people, so feel free to ask for a referral.

Rates

Each project is different. My rates reflect the unique requirements of each project. After evaluating your project, I’ll prepare an hourly or flat rate fee.
